Woman hires hitman to kill ex after deciding plan staging kidnap and making him sex slave was ‘unrealistic’

A WOMAN hired a hitman to kill her ex-husband and then asked if he could be kidnapped and turned into a sex slave.

Rachael Natalie Leahy had offered nearly £4000 to get her former partner bumped off - she was arrested on Thursday when she was busted at her final meeting with an undercover detective.

The Florida native had handed over half the fee for the hit and had looked into the possibility of having David Leahy kept as a sex slave during prior conversations.

In the affadavit which was seen  Sheriff’s Deputies in Manatee County  said Leahy she wanted to get custody of their three children.

Investigators got involved after getting a tip she wanted him dead.

At a meeting on August 29th she told the detective one possible option would be to have him kidnapped, then taken out of the US to another country and made to be a sex slave.

However the affadavit continued she realised it "wasn't a realistic expectation."

Other methods discussed included, drowning, a car accident and a fire. However she said she would leave the killing to the hitman.\

According to the documents there was only one condition: “She stated that if it was a vehicle accident, there could be no guarantee that he died from that.

Rachael described that she needs certainty and he must die.”

Leahy then handed over pictures of her ex husband David, 59, a deposit in cash and the couple's divorce papers, which outlined a life insurance policy which she promised she would use to pay.

When she was reminded she could change her mind the undercover officer reported; “Rachael said that she has not changed her mind. She said she wants her kids back and she has played nice for too long.”

It was on Thursday she showed up for another meeting with a sum of  nearly £1200.
