North Korean tyrant holds creepy Nazi-style mass rally to celebrate country’s fifth nuclear missile test

The widely condemned test last week saw the country successfully detonate its fifth nuclear bomb

KIM Jong-un has evoked memories of the massive Nazi party demonstrations of the 1930s by holding a spooky mass rally in Pyongyang.

The demonstration was held to celebrate the country's fifth nuclear test - which it launched to worldwide condemnation last week.

Footage broadcast by state media showed thousands of residents clapping in unison while party leaders watched from a balcony.

Those in attendance were all organised in perfect positions, suggesting the demonstration was highly staged.

The rally took place in the capital Pyongyang, the policy-making home of Jong-un's tyrannical government.

On Friday, he launched the country's fifth nuclear missile test, sparking fears among world leaders it could soon have long-range striking capability.

It comes just days after South Korean military forces warned they will destroy the North’s capital with "ballistic missiles and high-explosives" if they detect any sign of a nuclear attack.

A military source told Yonhap news agency, which has strong ties to South Korea’s government, that Pyongyang will be "completely destroyed" in the response.

The South Korean military official also told the news agency that the North’s leadership would be specifically targeted, with the city to be "reduced to ashes and removed from the map".

The South’s plans to attack the North are believed to have been revealed in parliament.
