A WOMAN'S body has been found hanging from a tree after being spotted by a 12-year-old boy who went to a funfair last night.
Charlie Hollands screamed and yelled for help when he spotted the corpse dangling from the branches near the fairground in Guildford, Surrey.
His older brother and friends who were with him came running but there was nothing they could do to save the woman.
Charlie's mum Layla Hollands, 38, from Wood Street Village, Guildford, said he had gone to the fair with his older brother and ten friends aged up to 19.
Mum-of-four Layla said: "He was walking down Parkway when he looked to the right and saw the body.
"He phoned me shortly after 9.30pm, sounding a bit shocked, saying there was a body hanging from the tree.
"He had shouted to his friends, and the older boys pulled him away and went and looked. Someone phoned the police.
"Charlie's older brother was also there but he didn't see it.
"I said to Charlie 'do you want me to come and get you?', but he said 'no, I want to go to my friend's house'.
