Since winning $1,382,800 from her 40-episode Jeopardy! streak, Amy Schneider has written a book and gotten married.
Amy also took a temporary leave from her engineering career and has signed a deal with Creative Arts Agency.
Regarding her hiatus from engineering, the game show winner told her Twitter followers: "I thought I was going to be more excited to get back to my day job than it turns out I have been.
"But I am going to be taking a leave of absence from that to kinda focus on this stuff and try to sort it all out and primarily...trying to put together a book proposal to see if that gets interest.
"That just really needs my focus. I am having a lot of meetings with my agents, which is such a weird thing to hear myself say, but it’s true."
On October 3, 2023, she released her first memoir; In the Form of a Question.
While discussing her memoir's content, Amy explained to the : "I love trivia, but it’s not the thing I’m most interested in or passionate about.
"It’s just the thing I got famous for. That being said...When I was pitching this book, I said my goal was hopefully in, like, five years, I can describe myself as a writer and not feel embarrassed about it, and that could really be what I do.

Amy's first winning Jeopardy! streak lasted from November 2021 to January 26, 2022, and she ended her reign with 40 total victories.
After Amy's initial run, she was asked to return to the program three additional times.

On November 21, 2022, she won season 39 of Jeopardy: Tournament of Champions.
For the third time, Amy returned to the franchise to compete in the first season of Jeopardy! Masters; she finished in fifth place.
On March 25, 2024, she made a fourth franchise appearance by participating in the spinoff, Jeopardy: Invitational Tournament.
The long-running series recognizes her as their second most successful winner behind Ken Jennings.
