Jenifer Black, an estate agent at the Black Diamond Group, said: "The owners, Lou and Carolyn Fidanza are avid history buffs, particularly presidential history.

“Their interest in the Oval Office began in 2005 with a visit to the Gerald Ford presidential library in Michigan where they spent six hours in the replica taking notes and measurements.”

Lou and Carolyn started building the Oval Office in their attic in 2015 and it took five years to finish.

Lou said: "It's full scale height and length, it's slightly less in width, but essentially it's a full size Oval Office."

Jenifer added: “Each president puts his own touches on the Oval Office decor, and this one is based on the presidencies of Barack Obama and George W. Bush.

"The Fidanzas believe these had the most attractive oval office designs.”

The room includes a reproduction of the Resolute desk and a rug with the presidential seal on it.

There is also a replica of the Bronco Buster sculpture, and artwork used during the Obama and Bush years.

Lou believes his Oval Office is “the finest replica in a private residence in the country.”

The 9,600 square foot home also features a grand entry with a 19-foot ceiling and a dramatic staircase, with a crystal chandelier.

The home that was previously listed for $2,695,000 has dropped its price tag by a sizeable sum of $845,000.
