Policewoman sacked for knocking mum’s love rival ‘flying’ in Asda cut-price meat aisle
Disciplinary panel felt her apology to the victim was 'too little too late'
A COP has been sacked for attacking her mum’s love rival at a supermarket’s reduced meat aisle.
Off-duty PC Beth Walker, 40, elbowed her victim with such force she was “knocked flying.”
The victim, in her 50s, had wed Walker’s mum’s ex, causing bad feeling.
When Walker, with West Mids Police for 13 years, saw the couple in Asda in Uttoxeter, Staffs, in June 2014, she attacked the woman.
Shocking footage shows the off-duty officer stick out her elbow and step into the victim, sending the woman stumbling into a spin, causing her shoe to fly off in one direction, and a pack of meat she was holding, in the other.
But the attacker claimed it was just a clumsy greeting.
