More taped conversations emerge of under fire Labour MP Keith Vaz appearing to bark lewd demands at prostitutes as he battles latest rent boy scandal
VICE-scandal MP Keith Vaz faces more controversy after claims that he may have been drugged during his liaison with rent boys were cast into doubt.
Sources have allegedly revealed the identity of the man who paid the bill for the male prostitutes.
New clips from the tapes, obtained by the Sunday Mirror, appear to show how the Labour MP barked orders at two escorts, ordered their sexual positions and even said 'good' when he discovered that an escort was drunk.
The married father-of-two Vaz, 59, was fighting for his political future after claims he met two Eastern European prostitutes at his London flat, and offered to cover the cost of buying cocaine if it was brought along.
But new transcripts appear to show the MP posing questions about the sex-enhancing drug poppers.
It appears that Vaz ,told the escorts his name was Jim and he was a washing machine salesman.
Allegations that the cash came from an associate linked to the Labour veteran’s own charity, as revealed by The Sun on Sunday, have been refuted by Mr Dragusin.
On one LinkedIn profile, Mr Dragusin was named as Silver Star Diabetes' 'London coordinator'.
The Charity Commission will probe claims a man linked to Vaz’s diabetes charity Silver Star settled at least part of the escorts’ bill.
Two deposits of £150 were paid into a bank account, including one on August 5 with the reference “painting”.
There is no suggestion the man knew the money might be being used to pay for sex.
Last night Mr Vaz was refusing to step down as chair of the Commons Home Affairs Select Committee, which probes drugs and vice issues and is currently reviewing prostitution laws.
He even blamed his exposure on a Press sting.
The Sun also revealed CCTV footage of Mr Vaz last night showing the Labour MP meeting a younger man at a hotel two years ago.
And one ex-worker at the London hotel said the married MP often arrived at short notice, sometimes with young men.
Mr Vaz, 59, brazenly turned up at the Commons today after refusing to resign over allegations he paid for sex with male prostitutes.
He rose to his feet to “warmly welcome” new Home Secretary Amber Rudd to her job and later asked a question about Yemen during a Foreign Office statement.
The brash appearance came after the PM intervened in the spiralling scandal while at the G20 summit in China.
Asked if the Leicester MP had fallen below the standards required of an MP, Mrs May said: “I have always been clear throughout my political career that what is important for people is that they feel they are able to have confidence in their politicians.
“And that’s what I think we all have a duty to provide to those who elect us.
“What Keith does is for Keith, and any decisions he wishes to make are for him.”
