Leftie luvvy Eddie Izzard chased a masked thief who plucked his pink beret from his head at a pro-EU rally.... in his high heels.
Thousands of stubborn lefties marched on the capital in a bid to halt Brexit, despite the country having voted to leave the EU in June.
Comedian and campaigner Eddie Izzard led crowds through the streets chanting "stop Brexit".
There was drama when a man dressed in black with a scarf covering half his face snatched Mr Izzard's pink beret from his head, close to Downing Street.
Despite wearing high heels, Mr Izzard gave furious chase as police caught the man and tore back his beret while cops pinned the man to the floor.
He then dusted off the pink garment and placed it back on his head.
While on stage later in the event Mr Izzard commended cops for apprehending the man who grabbed his hat.
When he left the stage, police officers sealed the brightly-coloured beret in an evidence bag.

Marchers carrying blue EU flags filled Parliament Square early this afternoon and sang The Beatles' hit song Hey Jude, replacing the word Jude with EU.
Chasing a man through the streets of London didn't stop comedian Izzard giving a speech to demonstrators.
He told crowds: "Is it too late? No, we just keep fighting. Theresa May said Brexit means Brexit. What does Brexit mean? She doesn't know what it means."
A smaller counter protest also took place as people in favour of Brexit carried banners with slogans like "No More Excuses, We Want Brexit Now".
A debate on whether a second EU referendum should take place is due to be held in parliament on Monday.
Green Party joint-leader Caroline Lucas has called for a second referendum to be held, once Brexit details are known.
