The last known sighting of the teenager was in Brixton, south London, at 5.15pm on July 28, according to Northamptonshire Police.

Police officers looking for the missing teenager executed a search warrant at an address in the Spencer area of Northampton on August 19 which led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man from Romford, Essex, on suspicion of child abduction.
He was released on bail until next month.

The police have now released unseen footage around the time of the final sighting in the hope it will get trigger someone's memory.

It shows Veronica, from Kettering in Northamptonshire but originally from London, walking along Brighton Terrace in Brixton.

The schoolgirl can be seen holding hands with a man.

Det Insp Stuart Hitchon, of Northamptonshire Police, said they "desperately" need to know she is safe.

Veronica was spotted in Ponders End in Enfield, London, on 27 July and in the Brixton area of the city the following day.

In August, her father issued a public plea to her to "come back home".

Det Insp Hitchon said: "We've released some additional CCTV footage in the hope that it may trigger someone's memory of seeing her or that Veronica herself may see it and make contact with us.

"It has been over a month since any sightings of her or any social media contact by her, which is very concerning.

"We desperately need to establish her whereabouts and ensure she is safe."

Mr Hitchon added: "We believed there was a small chance Veronica might attend the (Notting Hill) Carnival.

";However despite appealing to the public, no new leads have come in to the force."

Veronica, who attended Kingsmead School in Enfield, north London, is described as white, 5ft, with long, straight black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about her is urged to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101.
