Delphi murders: What happened to Abby Williams and Libby German?
TRAGEDY struck when two teenage girls lost their lives to an unidentified murderer.
It's been five years since the victims were killed and police officials have not been able to identify the assailant - though clues continue to come out.
What happened in the Delphi murders?
On February 14, 2017, two teenage females, Abigail, 'Abby,' Williams and Liberty 'Libby,' German, from the town Delphi, Indiana were pronounced dead.
The announcement followed one day after both of the girls' parents filed a missing persons report on February 13.
The victims' bodies were found about a quarter-mile from the Monon High Bridge, east of Delphi. An affidavit claims investigators analyzed a bullet near one of the victims, and determined it had been cycled through Richard Allen's gun.
The Monon High Bridge is where it's suspected the victims crossed paths with the murderer.
Who were Abby Williams and Libby German?
The victims of the Delphi, Indiana murders were identified as Abby Williams, 13, and Libby German, 14.
The two girls went on a hike near the Monon High Bridge on the day that they disappeared.
When their parents returned to the location where they dropped them off, Abby and Libby did not return.
On February 13, 2017, both sets of parents reported Abby and Libby missing, and their bodies were found the following day.

Who is the suspect?
The only evidence that was recovered since the girls were murdered five years ago consists of a short Snapchat video from Libby's phone.
The video depicts an unidentified man on the Monon High Bridge telling Abby and Libby, "go down the hill guys."
In December 2021, Indiana police officials believed to have made a slight connection to the murders, although they don't suspect the person of interest is the murderer.
A fraudulent profile with the handle @anthony_shots was used to contact many underage girls in the state of Indiana.
In August 2020, the perpetrator of the profile was identified as Kegan Anthony Kline of Peru, Indiana.
Indiana police officials have told the public that although Kline is behind the fake social media account, Indiana law enforcement have not named Kline a suspect in the slayings of Abby Williams and Libby German.
