School ‘shooter’ Ethan Crumbley and parents James and Jennifer on suicide watch after attack left four dead

ETHAN Crumbley and his parents were all being held in isolation and on suicide watch at a jail in Michigan on Saturday.

Ethan, 15, is accused of shooting dead four students and injuring more in an attack at Oxford High School last week, and his parents have now been charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the shooting.

The three are being checked on "multiple times an hour," according to Sheriff Michael Bouchard of Oakland County, Michigan.

Bouchard added that records do not indicate that any of the three face mental health issues.

Prior to the Crumbleys' arrest, they had been seen on Friday when a search warrant was executed at their home, according to Bouchard.

When asked about reports that Jennifer and James Crumbley were hiding from police, Bouchard said: "Where they were and how they were seems to support the position they were hiding."

Police are also reporting that the Crumbley parents withdrew $4,000 from an ATM and turned their cell phones off before they were apprehended, noting that the Crumbleys may have had help hiding from authorities, and that person may also face charges.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
