TODAY I joined the nearly 19 million Brits who have had their immunity against Covid turbocharged with a booster.

It was just the latest of more than 116 million jabs that have gone into arms across the UK since Margaret Keenan got her first dose almost exactly a year ago.

Thanks to the amazing NHS staff and volunteers at St Thomas’ Hospital it was delivered with the care, speed and efficiency that has long been the hallmark of our incredible vaccination programme.

And we’re not done yet.

Because while our scientists are still hard at work assessing the new variant, we do already know that the best way of keeping it at bay is to get vaccinated and get boosted.

So book your booster as soon as the NHS says it is your turn, and make sure your friends and family do the same.

We want to offer every adult in the UK a booster jab by the end of next month.

But to do that, we need The Sun’s Jabs Army to mobilise once again.

We need thousands of red-shirted volunteers to man the vaccine centres so the medical professionals can get on with delivering jabs.

Thank you to all the Sun readers who have signed up so far.

It’s not too late to .

And even if you can’t volunteer, make sure you do your bit for the Great British vaccination effort by booking that booster.
