Ethan Crumbley’s ‘online plan to kill students’ revealed as cops say Oxford High School gunman had 18 live rounds left
THE suspect in the Oxford school shooting had an online plan to kill students, police have said after cops revealed there were 18 live rounds left in the gun.
Ethan Crumbley, 15, has been charged as an adult with crimes including murder and terrorism after four Michigan students were shot dead on Tuesday.
It emerged on Wednesday that Crumbley's parents were summoned to the school to discuss his behavior just a few hours before the violence, a sheriff said.
Investigators found that he had recorded a video the night before the bloodshed in which he discussed killing students, Lt. Tim Willis of the sheriff’s office said.
“This was not just an impulsive act,” McDonald told reporters.
Crumbley is also said to have written about murdering classmates in a journal and on his phone.
Online records show he appeared to have shared an image of a gun, writing: "Just got my new beauty today."
An Instagram page believed to have belonged to Crumbley also appears to show Ethan had a "countdown to return of devil" and wrote, "now I become death -- destroyer of worlds -- see you tomorrow Oxford."

There were “two separate videos recovered from Ethan’s cellphone made by him the night before the incident, wherein he talked about shooting and killing students the next day at Oxford High School,” Willis said.
His journal “detail[ed] his desire to shoot up the school, to include murdering students," the court heard on Wednesday.
Assistant prosecutor Marc Keast said Crumbley - who has pleaded not guilty - "deliberately brought the handgun that day with the intent to murder as many students as he could."
And prosecutor Karen McDonald said the shooting was premeditated, based on a “mountain of digital evidence” against Crumbley.
In court, Keast said Crumbley entered a bathroom with a backpack and came out with a semi-automatic handgun, firing at students while moving down the hallway.
He is said to have fired 30 rounds from the gun bought by his dad days earlier.
The four victims were named as 16-year-old Tate Myre, 14-year-old Hana St. Juliana, and Madisyn Baldwin and Justin Shilling, both 17.
Three students were in hospitals Wednesday night, including a 17-year-old girl in critical condition, the sheriff’s office said. Others who were injured were discharged.
Deputies rushed to the school around lunchtime Tuesday and captured the gunman within minutes of the shooting.
His father bought the 9 mm Sig Sauer gun last week, according to the sheriff.

Crumbley was arraigned by video conference on Wednesday and was accompanied by his parents on the call.
He will be transferred from a juvenile detention center to Oakland County's adult jail, where he'll be sequestered and put under suicide watch.
