Ethan Crumbley journal detailed ‘desire to shoot up Oxford High School & murder classmates’ as parents may face charges

ETHAN Crumbley's journal detailed the 15-year-old's alleged desire to "open fire at the Oxford High School in Michigan and his classmates," reports say.

During his arraignment on Wednesday, it emerged that the teen's phone and a journal were seized by law enforcement – and cops allegedly found chilling fantasies described on Crumbley's device and written down.

Oakland County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Tim Willis said law enforcement searched Crumbley's home and found "two separate videos recovered from Ethan’s cellphone."

Speaking to Judge Nancy Carniak during Crumbley's arraignment, Willis said the videos were "made by him the night before the incident, wherein he talked about shooting and killing students the next day at Oxford High School.”

Authorities also found Crumbley's backpack and found a journal "detailing his desire to shoot up the school, to include murdering students," Willis said.

• A deer's head was left on school grounds weeks before shooting

School administrators flagged Crumbley, a school sophomore, for "behavior in the classroom that they felt was concerning," said Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard.

Crumbley's parents were even brought into the school the morning of the shooting for a meeting about their son's behavior, Bouchard added.

Police were not informed what the behavior was and do not know of prior issues to the event.

A look through his social media accounts show authorities he had access to a firearm and practiced with a Sig Sauer handgun, Willis said.

Tenth grader Nathan Swanson, who went to middle school with Crumbley, told that Crumbley was "really quiet, he would never talk to people."

“He wore all black, I believe he was really into hunting,” Swanson said.

Crumbley was charged as an adult with one count of terrorism, four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder, and 12 counts of possession of a firearm.

The teen spoke only to say he understood the charges during the arraignment, where Carniak ordered he be held without bail.

Crumbley, who pleaded not guilty, was arraigned by video conference on Wednesday and was accompanied by his parents on the call.

He will be transferred from a juvenile detention center to Oakland County's adult jail, where he'll be sequestered and put under suicide watch.

Just days before the shooting, someone entered the school grounds and dumped a beheaded deer head on school property.
