Terror recruitment drive

Jailed duo Anjem Choudary and Mizanur Rahman’s supporters are using their twisted pals’ convictions to recruit more hate preachers

Fanatics claim the pair, who face 10 years behind bars for drumming up support for ISIS, were the target of a government 'witch hunt'

FANATICS supporting jailed Anjem Choudary and Mizanur Rahman are using their twisted pals’ convictions to recruit more terror brutes.

They claim the pair, who face 10 years behind bars after being found guilty of drumming-up support for ISIS, were the target of a government “witch hunt”.

And they have urged “sleeping Muslims” to come forward and carry the baton for the London-based hate preachers.

They are also trying to rally support from radicals by claiming that caging the evil duo is a declaration of “war on Islam and Muslims”.

Disciples of Rahman, also known as Abu Baraa, say his and Choudary’s convictions have strengthened support for extremism.

Rahman’s reach is so far and wide that his Facebook page is being run, in his absence, by a team of admins based across “three continents”.

And they hint that he is still pulling the strings despite being in jail, by ordering that his hate preaching is taught to upcoming terror-wannabes.

It says: “Sheikh Mizanur asks that in his absence everyone kindly teach all the Knowledge that has come to you through him.”

Focusing on the sentencing of Rahman and Choudary on September 6, when they are expected to be handed 10-year sentences, Rahman’s pals say: “Internationally and Nationally - All eyes are on Britain to see without a doubt that there is a war on Islam and Muslims.”

Chillingly, they add: “If this does not open the eyes of the sleeping Muslims that Islam is under attack then know that they are dead.

“The witch hunt has ended for two and continues for several other Brothers.”

And they say the jailing of the warped pair has only upped support for terror-wannabes.

Administrators claim their “human rights and dignity” has been stripped, but add: “We are not deterred - it has backfired - such tactics make us more firm and make more Muslims carry the Dawah (as it is a Duty upon all of us).”

Radicals are encouraged to carefully write to jailed preachers and are told: “Anything you have learned from Abu Baraa (Rahman), Anjem Choudary, and other Preachers please pass it on - teach what you have learned.”

Discussing the case, the writers even dare to ask: “In reality did he or his co-accused even stand a chance?”

Rahman and Choudary were caught red-handed asking their supporters to obey Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Isis leader, and travel to Syria to support the bloodthirsty “caliphate”.

Choudary was linked to some 500 jihadis who fled the UK to join Isis in the Middle East.

His supporters included Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale, the murderers of soldier Lee Rigby, and suspected IS executioner Siddhartha Dhar.
