Manhunt underway for suspect who ‘killed a man with a stray bullet as he was eating Thanksgiving dinner’
A MANHUNT is underway for a suspected shooter after a man was killed with a stray bullet as he was eating Thanksgiving dinner.
Edilberto Miguel Palaez Moctezuma, 25, was tucking into a holiday feast with his family in Norristown, Pennsylvania when he was fatally struck.
A stray bullet came through the window of the home at around 9.30pm on Thursday and hit him in the torso, prosecutors say.
Edilberto was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where he was tragically pronounced dead a short time later.
Cops are now hunting the alleged shooter Kevon Clarke, 19, who they say had been involved in a dispute after he was kicked out of a Thanksgiving dinner party nearby.
Clarke and his girlfriend, Jacqueline Brown, were asked to leave alongside two other individuals, according to police.
But the hosts then discovered alcohol had gone missing following their departure.
The 19-year-old is said to have made arrangements with one of the guests to return it outside his home, when he allegedly fired several shots in the street, according to authorities.

One of these bullets is believed to have fatally hit Edilberto.
Investigators said they had found seven projectiles in the area as well as one live round.
By analyzing the bullet hole in the window and two different surveillance videos, officials determined that the deadly gunfire came from Clarke's location.
Authorities say the 19-year-old is considered armed and dangerous.
Cops are searching for Clarke as well as two men seen fleeing the scene in the. surveillance footage.
Local William Holmes said of the incident: "A sad scene, man. It was a sad scene, very bad.
"Sitting in there, you know, with your family for Thanksgiving and you would never expect for anything like that."
District Attorney Kevin Steele said in a statement: "Mr. Palaez Moctezuma was murdered while eating Thanksgiving dinner inside his home, and to be clear, he and his family were not involved in the dispute between Clarke and others.
"This is the second innocent bystander killed this year by a senseless dispute that turned to gun violence by someone who is not even legally able to own a gun.
"We hold the people involved in this kind of violence accountable here in Montgomery County.

"We will find this shooter and the others involved in this killing and seek justice for the murder of an innocent man, who wasn’t safe even in the confines of his own home."
