‘Idiot’ ignores safety warnings at Camber Sands to take kid into sea as shock new drowning figures are revealed

A BEACHGOER has been branded an "idiot" after ignoring safety warnings to take a young child out in an inflatable just days after five died at Camber Sands.
The worrying picture emerged as new figures have revealed the number of people who have been killed while swimming off Britain's coastline.
Despite the Orange 'no inflatables' windsock warning being in place the man ignored the rules and went ahead.
After the photo was posted online he was branded an "idiot". The child was said to be about six years old.
The news of the deaths comes as millions of Brits head to our beaches for what promises to be a sun-soaked bank holiday weekend.
But families are being advised to steer clear of the water after it emerged more than 300 have died while swimming in seas in the last three years. And there are are several 'danger beaches' which appear to be a bigger risk than others.

The concerning figures - obtained by the - come after five best friends drowned in what appeared to be a calm sea next to Camber Sands beach on Wednesday.
The men who died have been named as Kenugen Saththiyanathan, 18, Kobikanthan Saththiyanathan 22, Nitharsan Ravi, 22, Inthushan Sriskantharaja, 23, and Gurushanth Srithavarajah, 27.
Last month, 19-year-old Brazilian Gustavo Silva Da Cruz also died while swimming in the sea at Camber.
The pals got into difficulty when water rose around a sand bar they were playing football on and they were overcome by "quicksand," their brother claimed.

Beach-goers watched on in horror as they were pulled, one-by-one, from the sea by emergency crew.
Rother councillor Sally-Ann Hart said safety was under constant review but Camber had been categorised as a safe beach.
"Having said that, the RNLI are providing a temporary service this weekend.
"They are redeploying services from other beaches around the country to provide reassurance to visitors and holidaymakers in view of the recent tragedies, because they are horrendous.
"It might well be that lifeguards may be deployed in the future when all the evidence is looked at as to what caused these deaths.
An online petition calling for lifeguards at Camber Sands has been signed by more than 7,500 people.
Another seven were killed while enjoying the sunshine on beaches across the UK in the past week, too.
A mum and her six-year-old were part of a group who got into difficulty in Aberdeen beach on Monday.
Little McKayla Bruynius, 2, and her dad Rudy died after they were swept into the sea at Fistral Beach, Newquay as her mum watched on.
Joy Godfray, 31 drowned off the coast of Jersey on Saturday and a man in his 60s died while windsurfing in West Mersea, Essex over the weekend, too.
