St Cuthbert’s High School in Rochdale, Gtr Manchester, revealed that Chloe, who dreamed of becoming a lawyer, achieved nine A* to Cs, including an A* in religious education and As in maths and social care.

A message posted to the school's Facebook page read: “Today, we must also reflect on the fantastic results that Chloe received.

“Chloe Cockton was an extremely dedicated, hard-working and intelligent young lady.

Chloe exemplifies everything that is good about our students. She has been a credit to our school and her family

“Chloe’s ambition in life was to become a solicitor. We have no doubt that the grades Chloe achieved today would have been the first step to accomplishing that dream.

“Her progress at St Cuthbert’s exceeds that of the national average and is credit to her hard work, determination and commitment.

“Chloe exemplifies everything that is good about our students. She has been a credit to our school and her family.”

Chloe was one of five teens in a Renault Clio car when it smashed into a pedestrian barrier near Rochdale's town centre on Sunday, July 24.

The 19-year-old male driver of the car, a 16-year-old boy and two 17-year-old girls were injured but survived the accident.

Hundreds of people attended Chloe's funeral in Rochdale earlier this month, and a candle-lit vigil was held a week after her death.

Thousands of pounds were donated towards her funeral costs.

Facebook users shared their own thoughts about Chloe's GCSE results on her school's Facebook page, with pal Clare Cooper writing: “Gutted at a life cut short but lovely to hear her excellent results.”

Mark Hughes wrote: “Well done to all the staff at St Cuthbert’s for sharing Chloe’s results with us. So proud of what you achieved. RIP princess, gone but never forgotten,” while Jacqueline Foreman Moran said: "Her Mum and Dad must be so so proud of their little girl. RIP Chloe."
