A CRAZED commuter unleashed chaos on a packed train when she released a tub of live CRICKETS.
The woman also tried making herself vomit on passengers trying to restrain her and urinated on herself in the bizarre incident.
She had been trying to sell crickets and worms during the evening commute on a New York subway when a group of teens reportedly pushed her.
The woman then caused pandemonium as she tossed the container of bugs in the air - leaving commuters to run to one end of the car while screaming and crying, according to the .
Shocking video taken by passenger John Ray appeared to show the woman furiously screaming while banging her head with her hands.
She then is seen walking out of view of the camera and is heard yelling: "Why did you hit me? Do you see what you did? Now everybody's late because of you."
John said: "She threw the crickets everywhere and 100 people were trying to run. To where? People crammed into one end of the train. The air conditioning shut off.
"She was freaking out because she couldn't breathe because she was in such a state and there was no air."
Passenger Ezra Mechaber wrote on Twitter: "Woman just let crickets out on the D Train as we went over the Manhattan Bridge."
Someone pulled the emergency brake causing the train to stall for 15 minutes as crickets flew around the busy carriage and worms wriggled on the floor.
Air conditioning was shut off as the crickets started leaping on hysterical passengers.
A source told the that the flying crickets caused one passenger to throw up while other screaming passengers fled the car.
As the chaotic scenes unfolded, the woman then urinated on the floor as commuters fled to the other side of the carriage.
She also attempted to throw up on some men who were trying to hold her down.
Ezra said: "She was hysterical for 20 minutes and peed herself before the train operator unlocked the car doors to let us through.
"Mass hysteria in a locked, enclosed space is something else."
Witness Chris Calabrese, 29, who was on the train with his girlfriend said the woman was banging on the doors and trying to climb out the windows.
Describing the scenes as "pandemonium", he added: "Everyone had crickets on their arms. My girlfriend was crying.
"Then some men were trying to hold her down and she started trying to throw up on them."
The train, which was headed to Brooklyn, eventually started moving again and cops took the woman in custody.
She was transported to New York Methodist Hospital for psychiatric observation and no one was injured in the dramatic ordeal, according to police.
