Inspection into mortuary where worker abused bodies raised no major security concerns
AN inspection of the mortuary where David Fuller sexually abused dozens of bodies raised no major security concerns — before the horrors came to light.
Regulator the Human Tissue Authority found the facility at Tunbridge Wells Hospital met most of its standards.
A source said: “He should have been stopped. It’s clear this inspection did not get to the bottom of it.”
Fuller abused bodies for 12 years at now-closed Kent and Sussex Hospital and its replacement, Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
He also admitted the murders of Caroline Pierce, 20, and Wendy Knell, 25. The fiend, 67, was arrested in December thanks to DNA.
