Haunting pictures show a Belgian dentist’s abandoned home that has lay untouched for more than a decade since the occupants moved out
Bloody needles and dentist utensils can still be seen scattered throughout the building
NO-ONE likes a trip to the dentist but how would you like to visit this house of horrors for your next check-up?
These haunting pictures show a Belgian dentist’s abandoned house that has lay untouched for more than a decade since the occupants moved out.
Dentistry equipment still sits in place, a blood-filled syringe and even a table set for dinner.
The shots were taken by Russian urban explorer Alexandra Zero, 29, from Chelyabinsk on a trip to Belgium.
"The house belonged to a doctor called Dr Pepito," she said. On the second floor we found some lawyer's documents, so we decided that a father and son lived there.

"It is hard to say how many years ago it was abandoned. All stuff inside is very old, but the garden hints that maybe around ten years ago people still cared about this place.
"In Belgium abandoned locations remain untouched, nobody would steal anything. Because of that you still can see a car in its garage, medical equipment and some precious stuff.
"It looks like people moved from this place thinking they would go back soon which is a bit creepy."
Alexandra aims to show the beauty of the places that have been left behind.
"All my life I have seen beauty in unusual things," she said. "Derelict places are like finished books; you can read them like pages of a dairy.
"The biggest thing for me is the difference between two worlds; the world that stopped in this house and my own. I live in another country with another culture and have different books on my bookshelf.
"This house is from the past and it feels like a time machine that has transported you back to this time."
