RAPPER Fetty Wap was reportedly busted by FBI agents on federal drug charges at New York City's Citi Field stadium.
Wap, whose real name is William Junior Maxwell II, was arrested by federal agents in moments before he was set to take the stage at Thursday's Rolling Loud music festival.
The rapper, who hails from Patterson, , is expected to be arraigned on Friday in Long Island's Central Islip Federal Court.
Maxwell was part of a group of six men who were indicted in a drug distribution scheme; the reported citing law enforcement sources.
The crew was allegedly dealing numerous drugs while the rapper was famous.
Federal prosecutors accuse the rapper of his role in a multi-million dollar drug ring that imported more than 100 kilos of heroin, fentanyl and cocaine from the West Coast for sale in Long Island and New Jersey.
Investigators reportedly recovered $1.5million in cash, 16 kilos of cocaine, 2 kilos of heroin, five weapons and ammunition in taking down the illicit operation.
According to the Daily News, all six were charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances. All but Wap were additionally accused of the use of firearms in connection with the drug ring.

If convicted, the defendants could face life in prison.
In a statement to , Wap's attorney, Navarro Gray, said: "We pray that this is all a big misunderstanding. He sees the judge today. Hoping he gets released so we can clear things up expeditiously."

Before his arrest, Wap was scheduled to perform at the Rolling Loud music festival at Citi Field.
The Trap Queen rapper was expected to headline the Thursday show, which featured performances by , Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Durk, and Jack Harlow, among others.
Wap was expected to perform at 4.45pm on Thursday, but some festivalgoers complained on Twitter that he never appeared.
One attendee tweeted: "No baby and no replacement? No fetty wap? no durk? No EST Gee? Tf am I paying VIP for this some b******?"
Another person said: "What happened to @fettywap?"
The arrest was Wap's latest run-in with the law and it comes just months after he lost his four-year-old daughter Lauren, who died of a heart defect.
In 2019 he was arrested for allegedly assaulting three employees at a hotel in Las Vegas.
According to , Maxwell hit a parking attendant at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in after getting into an argument.

Police initially said Wap hit an employee but later said he "committed a battery" on three.
In November 2017, he was also arrested and charged with DUI after police say he was caught drag racing another car on a New York City highway.
