Transfer tattoos with the word ‘NO’ are being given out at German swimming pools to help stop sex attacks
Campaigners said that the tattoos were a way to start the conversation about sexual abuse
YOUNG girls are being given stick-on tattoos with the word "no" to warn off potential rapists at German swimming pools.
The temporary tattoos have the word "NO!" emblazoned in red in the middle, surrounded by angel-like wings.
The stick on tattoos are part of a new prevention campaign launched in the Bodensee district in the Baden-Wurttemberg state.
The district's Women's and Family representative Veronika Wascher-Goggerle said the temporary tattoos aimed to raise awareness.
She said: "I think many girls are insecure. What is normal in daily interactions and what should not be allowed and needs to be reported?
"Illustrations have been made available at swimming pools and should make this clear. "The temporary tattoos are an incentive for young swimmers to think about the issue."
