BRIAN Laundrie will be flushed out by the bone-chilling winter and forced to break into cabins to steal food, a private investigator claims.
Gabby Petito’s fugitive fiancé remains at large as the manhunt to find the 23-year-old enters its fifth week.
He told : “I would really start in Northern and work my way up to That’s where I’d concentrate my efforts.
“You’re going to have a milder winter there. I do know that I would expect that my cabin would be broken into if I had one in that area because he’s going to try and take shelter there or steal provisions.”
Laundrie celebrated earlier this year and one of the vlogger's pals Rose Davis said the fugitive had previously lived on the hiking route for "months".
Jensen added: "I believe that he thinks in his mind he's familiar with this area enough that he could blend in and hide."
Former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer thinks it’s that Laundrie may be hiding out on the Appalachian Trail.

She told Monday: "It's one of the possibilities that have to be considered.
Severin Beckwith and Anna Brettmann were napping at a lodge at Fontana Village Resort near the trail when their door was busted open.
Beckwith told the : “Next thing I see is a bunch of guys with riot shields with ‘U.S. Marshals’ written on them."

He said agents grabbed the side of his head and zeroed in on "a notch in the upper part of my ".
The Marshals realized they had the wrong person and released Beckwith after they checked his ID.

And, wilderness expert told The Sun: “Psychology is a big part of survival. Not only the fact that he’s trying to survive, but he’s also running and being pursued.

“There are a lot of things that are playing on his psychology that will end up making himself turn in, make a mistake, or get himself in a perilous situation. All of those things combined will give him problems.”
Canterbury warned last month that Laundrie could be battling hypothermia in weeks if he’s hiding in the Florida wilderness as the state is prone to dramatic temperature swings in the fall.
