Brian Laundrie tagged ‘Blood Mountain’ on Instagram with Gabby Petito as his demonic artwork showed bloody scenes
BRIAN Laundrie's "Blood Mountain" geotag on Instagram with Gabby Petito has taken on a darker significance as his demonic artwork revealed scenes of bloody carnage.
shared a seemingly innocuous picnic post on with the telling location back in April - months before remains were found and her missing fiancé went on the run.
"That picnic basket has taken us to some beautiful spots ," he wrote in the caption, tagging Blood Mountain, which is the highest peak on the Georgia section of .
It is the area where the National Forest Serial Killer Gary Hilton decapitated University of Georgia graduate Meredith Emerson, 24, who was hiking in the Chattahoochee National Forest on New Year’s Day in 2008.
Hilton murdered, decapitated, dismembered several others, and is currently on death row.
Brian's are significant, given the emphasis on blood and violence.

Meanwhile, online sleuths also discovered a series of chilling artworks on Laundrie's social media pages, which included a man wearing a wolf mask holding a blood-soaked knife.
Another post dated July 15, 2020, is captioned: “Grim Reaper leading sheep to the slaughter" and shows a herd of sheep surrounded by ghoulish figures wielding scythes.

A drawing, which Laundrie says was crafted with pen and watercolor, shows Frankenstein's monster chained to a chair made of rock and wood.
In the black and white image, the monster has shackles around his ankles, feet, and neck.
The fugitive shared several images of the demonic comic book character Hellboy across his social media platforms.
Laundrie, who is a fan of comic books, sketched the Simpsons’ characters in what appears to be an innocent set of cartoon drawings.
But, underneath the drawing of the cartoon, a caption reads: “This was a fun one. I wanna give them little bodies with blood spraying from their necks, a lot of gore, maybe an ax or chainsaw.”
Dog's comments come this week as more details on Gabby's death were revealed.
HORRIFIC END
Dr Brent Blue of the Trent County coroner's office said that or throttling determined by the injuries found around her neck.
However, he would not go into further details about what the injuries were.
He would also not confirm if she was killed in the same place as and would not speak to Laundrie potentially being named as a suspect.
The FBI, which is leading the case, has not yet commented on the full autopsy results.
Her remains were found off the beaten track in rural Wyoming on September 19 - two months into her latest van life trip with Laundrie.
ON THE RUN
He returned to Florida without her, went camping with his parents and older sister Cassie, and then disappeared on September 13. Local police and the FBI are currently combing the Carlton Reserve searching for him.
His Instagram post tagging Blood Mountain is also significant given a private investigator previously told The Sun he believes Laundrie is hiding out on the Appalachian Trail, which spans a whopping 14 states.

- September 15 - Florida's North Port police announce in the case. He is not charged with any crime.
- September 16 - Utah police release of the police encounter with Brian and Gabby.

- September 18 - Police announc. Police announce they have not found anything.
- September 19 - Authorities in Wyoming say . The FBI announces the body was believed to be Gabby's but a full forensic identification needs to be completed first to confirm.
- September 20 - Police execute a search warrant on Laundrie's home, seizing and a hard drive that may contain "evidence relevant to proving that a felony has been committed."
- September 21 - Officials announce they will be on the remains found in Wyoming to confirm whether or not they belong to Gabby. Police also resumed their search for Laundrie, this time on the Venice side of Carlton Reserve.
