George, 22, was with his friend Ben Barker when they are said to have rowed with the men outside a bar in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The estate agent from Dartford, Kent, died from a knife wound to the neck in the pre-dawn attack on the busy street.

Eyewitnesses have said the assault was "completely random" but it has been widely reported that George had argued with the men before his death.

Ben, also 22, was knifed multiple times and is still recovering at Larnaca General Hospital on the island.
