CALL the cops . . . it’s a ram raid.
An officer desperately tried to round up this flock of sheep after they descended on a busy roundabout.
Around 50 calmly grazed amid the traffic chaos on the A449 near Worcester.
The mischievous herd were hurriedly ushered to safety by police who were soon on the case after one driver was concerned for their safety.
Beth Huntley, 24 who reported the sheep to the police said: "I didn't hesitate about calling them, seeing animals out and about worries me.
"It's a very busy roundabout and they were just on the edge.
"They looked pretty happy but I was wondering where they'd come from.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "The farmer was on his way within minutes to round them up, and two police officers and a PCSO were on hand to assist him."
But this was not the first time Beth has been confronted with some roaming livestock.
Beth said: "I've had something like this before in Worcester, I was driving at nighttime when some cows came towards me and I could see their eyes."
A police spokesman explained the sheep escaped squeezed through a hole in a fence which the farmer said he had blocked with a plank but it had been removed.
He added: "The farmer and the officers got them back in the field and made sure the hole had been fixed again.
"No sheep were injured during the incident."
