When must EuroMillions be won and how many times can the jackpot roll over?

INTERNATIONAL lottery EuroMillions launched in February 2004 in Paris.

The prize has reached reached the maximum amount permitted by the National Lottery and stands at a mind-boggling £191million.

When must EuroMillions be won?

, once the money must be given away after the jackpot has stayed at €230million cap for a five consecutive draws.

If no-one wins by that point, the jackpot is shared between those who have won on the next prize tier.

If no-one wins the current prize in the remaining rounds, a Must Be Won draw will be held on July 22, 2022.

How many times can EuroMillions jackpot roll over?

The original rules of EuroMillions allowed the jackpot to rollover 11 times before the Must Be Won draw.

It can now rollover until the cap is reached, after which the money must be won in five draws.

Is there a limit on the EuroMillions jackpot?

Back in 2009, a jackpot cap of of £156 million was introduced.

It's since been increased, and now stands at €230 million, or around £191 million, which has been hit.

Therefore the prize money can't climb any higher and must be won, according to the National Lottery website.

Winners of the current prize could eclipse the reported fortunes of stars including Tyson Fury, who has around £150million in the bank, and even beat Grammy-winner Adele's riches of £190million.

Runners-up with five main numbers and only one lucky star stand to win £130,554.30.

Those with just five main numbers could bag themselves £13,561.20, while players with four main numbers and two lucky stars will collect a prize of £844.70.

The UK draw also includes the UK Millionaire Maker with a winning total of £1,000,000.

Your ticket will include a code and the holder will win the £1m prize if they match the winning code.

When is EuroMillions draw?

At present, the country's biggest winners are Joe and Jess Thwaite.

The EuroMillions draw takes place in Paris at 9.45pm local time - which is 8.45pm in the UK, every Tuesday and Friday.
