FOOTAGE has emerged showing US gold medallist swimmer Ryan Lochte clubbing in Rio reportedly filmed on the night he falsely claimed he was the victim of a gunpoint robbery.
The US athlete can be seen smiling with fellow swimmer Jimmy Feigen before he turns the camera around to show a packed nightclub, with the caption 'What'.
Pictures have also emerged of the 32-year-old with two Brazilian socialites purportedly taken just hours before he claimed he was the victim of an armed mugging.
Lying Ryan is seen cosying up to two beautiful teens in Club France just hours before concocting his bogus robbery story to help hide his wild night of women and partying.
Lochte today apologised for the incident, which also involved Feigen and swimmers Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger.
The shamed swimmer, 32, said that drinking in a foreign country with friends was “traumatic” in a statement published on his Instagram page.
Furious Brazilian official say their probe into the night showed that the group actually vandalised a petrol station bathroom and urinated in public on their way home from a party last weekend.
Mariana Belisario and Laura Gazzinelli say they were at the Club France in Rio's Lagoa district and were drinking with the group into the early hours of Sunday morning.
Laura said they posed for a picture with Lochte, captioned "celebrating the medals" at around 4.15am and reportedly last saw the men just before 5am, the reports.
She said they had been watching the men drinking and dancing in the VIP area before asking for a picture.
She said: "We watched enjoying and dancing and we asked him if we would mind taking a photo with us.
"We congratulated him for the Olympic performance and he smiled and kept dancing. He was very kind and polite."
She said she was "shocked" to read articles about what had happened to the group after the night out.
The revelations come after the US Olympic Committee issued an apology, clarifying that Lochte and three other members of its swimming team were not mugged.
Earlier, Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger flew back to Miami after being questioned by Brazilian police over the incident at a petrol station.
The pair were originally hauled off a plane as they tried to leave Brazil on Wednesday.
The Olympians and their two teammates, Ryan Lochte and James Feigen, are accused by Brazilian cops of lying about the robbery.
Lochte has already flown back to the US, while Feigen is still in Brazil.
