BRIAN Laundrie's lawyer has been giving subtle hints his fugitive client is still alive, an ex-FBI agent claims.

The telltale sign that the 23-year-old ex-fiancé is likely alive is based on the fact Steve Bertolino, the Laundrie family attorney, has consistently stated that he represents the entire family.

REPPING ALL THE LAUNDRIES

“I believe that the amount of time that has gone on and passed - and he has still remained undetected,” said Jennifer Coffindaffer, in an interview with .

“And the attorney has repeatedly said he's representing the Laundrie family and Brian,” she said.

She submits that it's unlikely that Bertolino would come forward so often claiming he’s representing a deceased client.

“He would not represent someone that is not alive,” Coffindaffer said.

20 YEARS AS LAUNDRIE ATTORNEY

Indeed, Bertolino has consistently referred to the Laundrie family as his clients and has served them for two decades.

Back on September 15, the attorney specifically confirmed that he was representing Brian.

The : “In my experience, intimate partners are often the first person law enforcement focuses their attention on in cases like this and the warning that 'any statement made will be used against you' is true, regardless of whether my client had anything to do with Ms. Petito's disappearance.

“As such, on the advice of counsel, Mr. Laundrie is not speaking on this matter.

“This formality has not really changed the circumstances of Mr. Laundrie being the focus and attention of law enforcement and Mr. Laundrie will continue to remain silent on the advice of counsel."

SEPTEMBER 13

September 13 is a particularly significant date as it comes two days after Brian’s parents Christopher and Roberta Laundrie reported their son left to go on a hike.

It would soon be revealed that the parents told police they saw Brian last when he said he was going to hike back on September 13.

He never returned.

Initially, the : “Brian left that phone at home the day he went for a hike in the preserve on September 14, 2021 and the FBI now has that phone.”

This week, that key date was amended to September 13.

“The Laundries were basing the date Brian left on their recollection of certain events,” Bertolino said.

“Upon further communication with the FBI and confirmation of the Mustang being at the Laundrie residence on Wednesday Sept. 15, we now believe the day Brian left to hike in the preserve was Monday Sept. 13.“

FAMILY 'PRAYS' FOR GABBY

When Gabby’s remains were found near a Grand Teton Park campsite back on September 19, Bertolino confirmed the entire family “prays” for her and her family.

“The news about Gabby Petito is heartbreaking,” Bertolino’s statement reads. “The Laundrie family prays for Gabby and her family.” <<//twitter.com/wpbf_jossie/status/1439733690456809474?s=21>>

On September 29, .

“I've been the Laundrie family attorney for more than 20 years,” he said.

And on October 12, when Teton County Coroner Brent Blue confirmed the manner of the 22-year-old vlogger died by "strangulation / throttling" Bertolino responded on behalf of Brian.

“Gabby Petito's death at such a young age is a tragedy,” Bertolino’s statement reads.

“While Brian Laundrie is currently charged with the unauthorized use of a debit card belonging to Gabby, Brian is only considered a person of interest in relation to Gabby Petito's demise.

“At this time Brian is still missing and when he is located we will address the fraud charge pending against him.”

WARRANT FOR FUGITIVE BRIAN

Brian is not currently considered a suspect in Gabby's murder but is just considered a “person of interest.”

On September 23, the FBI Denver Field Office issued an arrest warrant for Brian.

Two days later, a warrant was issued for Brian's arrest after investigators claimed he had "used unauthorized debit cards after Gabby Petito's death."
