Dog the Bounty Hunter update – New wife Francie supports star in Brian Laundrie search he scours Florida wilderness




WITH the support of his wife, Francie, Dog the Bounty Hunter is continuing the search for Brian Laundrie in Florida amid revealing he cut his honeymoon short to join the manhunt.

Dog was filmed knocking on the front door of Cassie Laundrie's home.

No one answered the door, and Dog returned to his car after making multiple attempts to reach someone inside the home.

Dog said he believes Cassie, Brian's sister, "absolutely" knows more about Brian's whereabouts than what she has admitted.

, has been hunting for for weeks.

Gabby's body was found in Grand Teton National park on September 19, eight days after her family reported her missing.

    Speaking exclusively to The Sun last week, Dog the Bounty Hunter claimed that the Teton County coroner’s office  by “slowly” revealing more information about Gabby’s death.

    “I have never seen the findings of an autopsy take this long to announce.” Dog said. 

    “I know that my daughter was killed at the same age and for a few weeks, they didn’t tell me that the car actually rolled over on my daughter’s skull.”

    “I remember these exact pieces of time when Barbara Katy passed away so I’m glad I didn’t hear that right away.”

    “It’s more the mercy of the federal government and the coroner really to go out very slowly.”

  • HOW MANY BODIES HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED AMID BRIAN LAUNDRIE MANHUNT?

    At least  around the US amid the manhunt for Brian Laundrie.

    Authorities nationwide have been on high alert for  sightings for nearly five weeks since he was reported missing in Florida just two days before his fiancee  was found dead in Wyoming.

    While , at least four other people have been found dead under suspicious circumstances during that period near areas where police were searching for him or Gabby.

    An additional two bodies found before  disappeared were initially probed as potentially being linked to the case because they were discovered near where he was road-tripping with Gabby.

    Dog claimed that  would have told their son: “Ok, son, get home right now.”

     attorney Steven Bertolino told The Sun that they would not be commenting on the claims.

    Speaking to The Sun last week, Dog claimed that he thought this was the story in the beginning but he has since changed his mind after reviewing the timeline of Laundrie’s actions.

    Lyssa Chapman said her father isn’t “giving up” the search as she teased “the bait is set”.

    She tweeted that he’s heading back to Colorado temporarily to “handle some business”.

    Chapman said: “We are still actively searching for , leaving a team in place in Florida. As always, whatever I can share with you, I will.”

    Replying to a fan who hoped the team wasn’t giving up, she tweeted: “Not giving up … It’s common that we (include you all) put so much heat on a fugitive they dig down, he will pop up again. Bait is set.”

    The reality TV star’s daughter Lyssa Chapman told her Twitter followers Sunday that the 68-year-old had returned to  due to an ankle injury.

    In 1976, was convicted of first-degree murder relating to the death of Jerry Oliver in Pampa, Texas.

    As a young biker, Dog was waiting in a car when his friend accidentally shot and killed 69-year-old Oliver, an alleged pimp and drug dealer, while they were fighting over a cannabis deal.

    Although Dog played no direct role in the murder, he was tried for the crime under Texas rules that anyone involved indirectly in a killing can be held responsible.

    He was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to five years behind bars in Texas State Penitentiary – a conviction which understandably turned his entire life upside down.

    Initially, his team was denied bail, but Dog's wife Beth alerted the media, and the Mexican government later granted them bail.

    Three years after their initial arrest, they were arrested by US Marshals on behalf of the Mexican government, and charged with illegal bounty hunting.

    In 2007, all charges were dropped in the case against Dog and his team.

    Andrew Luster was accused of drugging and raping several women, and fled to Mexico in the middle of his trial to evade the charges. He was convicted of 86 charges in his absence and sentenced to 125 years.

    Dog captured Andrew, but he and his crew were arrested on their way back to the US because bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico.

    was also arrested in  when he was famously hunting Andrew Luster, who had escaped to Puerto Vallarta, after being charged with multiple sexual assaults using the date-rape drug GHB.

    He tracked Luster down but was stopped at the US/Mexico border by Mexican authorities because bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico.

    After being arrested in Mexico, Dog paid the bail to get out of Mexican prison for both himself and his crew.

    However, they escaped Mexico for the US, making them fugitives themselves.

    Last week, Dog chipped in $10,000 to the reward being offered in the search for Brian as an incentive for people to continue sending him tips.

    The TV star’s contribution bumped the total reward up to $180,000.

    Most of the reward money has been donated by individuals to the Petito family.

    The plaintiffs allege that Dog and "his daughter Lyssa continued to pump out innuendo designed to damage Donovan and Moore’s reputation."

    The complaint also alleged that during Dog and Unleashed Entertainment’s short-lived work together, that "Plaintiff Donovan became aware of Defendant Chapman’s use of ‘shell companies’ as personal slush funds to avoid the payment of taxes."

    The lawsuit stated: "Upon information and belief Defendant Chapman owes millions in taxes that were evaded using the scam. Plaintiff Donovan instructed Chapman that his company Unleashed Entertainment could no longer do business with him if he insisted on using a scheme to evade taxes.   

    “Upon information and belief, Defendant Chapman became hyper concerned that his behavior might be reported to authorities after the cancellation of his show 'Dog Unleashed.’”

    The complaint alleges: “On or about January 30, 2021, Defendant Chapman made a knowingly false report of abuse to Social Services in Virginia, and to Defendant (Jane) Collins, a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.” 

    “The subject of his complaint was Plaintiff Zachary Cruz, someone he had only met in passing.” 

    In the suit Michael, Richard and Zach allege that “Virginia social services workers and a corrupt county sheriff, working on a false tip from Defendant Duane Chapman, conspired to search the home of Zachary Cruz and his family, arrest Cruz, and place him into a conservatorship.” 

    The suit also names Dog's daughter Lyssa as a defendant.

  • DOG IS BEING SUED

    Dog the Bounty Hunter is being sued over allegations that he called the Parkland shooter’s brother the R-word slur and filed a false report with the FBI against his former business partner. 

    In the lawsuit, filed on Thursday in Virginia and obtained exclusively by The Sun, Michael Donovan the CEO of Unleashed Entertainment alleged that  “lied about meeting Zachary Cruz, the , and that he falsely asserted that the young man was "r****ded."

    Zach has been living with Michael and Richard since 2018 according to various reports.

    Michael was working with Dog on a canned reality show for Unleashed, however the CEO had alleged in the suit that the reality star was fired over various ethical violations, including using racial slurs and homophobic troupes.

  • DOG THINKS BRIAN IS ALIVE BUT NOT WELL

    Dog predicted that Brian is still alive but struggling in an interview with  last Monday.

    He said he does not believe that Brian is suicidal, but that the fugitive is likely not doing well because of how long he has been on the run.

    Dog also speculated that Brian is still in the US because he is more familiar with the terrain.

    In the weeks since he officially announced his independent search effort, Dog said he's gained invaluable information that he believes will lead to  capture.

    "Is he still alive? Oh yeah. Yeah, he's alive,' Dog - real name Duane Chapman - told The Sun.

    "Do they wish we thought he was dead? Oh yeah. Do they wish that we thought that his body was being eaten by alligators? Oh yeah."
