Furious mum slams school staff who let her daughter, 6, walk home alone from a film night
A FURIOUS mum has blasted school officials who let her six-year-old daughter walk home alone from a film night.
Emily Rose dropped Sofia at the PTA event.
But the child was back on their doorstep an hour later at 6.15pm, saying she left after being bullied.
Emily, a firefighter in her 20s, said: “My worst nightmare is getting called to an accident with my own child.
“God forbid if she was kidnapped. She crossed main roads on her own and I’m so thankful nothing happened to her.”
St Michael’s CoE Primary in Larkhill, Wilts, apologised to Emily over the incident on Friday.
In an email to parents, it said all PTA events would be suspended while it investigates.
But Emily added: “It’s a safeguarding worry. It could have been so much worse.”
The school was approached for comment.
