Murder suspect arrested following manhunt after woman found stabbed to death in Primrose Hill

A MURDER suspect has been arrested following the death of a woman in a flat in Primrose Hill, London.

Jason Bell, 40, was located by Met Police on Sunday evening and was arrested on suspicion of murder.

"We had appealed for help to locate Jason Bell, aged 40, who was wanted in connection with the death of a woman in Primrose Hill," the Met Police tweeted.

"He has been located and arrested on suspicion of murder. Our thoughts remain with the woman's family."

Officers were called to the flat in Broxwood Way at 1am on Sunday morning to a disturbance.

A woman in her 30s was found by police suffering from stab wounds.

Police who attended the scene administered first aid to the victim before the ambulance arrived.

Despite their best efforts, the emergency service responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

The victim's family have since been informed.

A post-mortem examination and formal identification will take place soon, police have said.
