TV STARS Ant and Dec hit back at Jeremy Corbyn after he failed to recognise the popular presenters during a TV debate.
The Saturday Night Takeaway pair took a cheeky shot at the Labour leader by tweeting they didn’t know who he was either.
The Geordie duo, who made their names on Byker Grove, have become household names having hosted high-profile shows like I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and Britain’s Got Talent.
But when Mr Corbyn was shown a photo of them during a Labour leadership hustings yesterday he couldn’t identify them.
He and his rival Owen Smith were tested on their pop culture knowledge during a live debate on the BBC News Channel's Victoria Derbyshire show yesterday.
When shown a photograph of Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly he told host Derbyshire: "I cannot name them, I'm really sorry."
After being told who they were, and that they were in fact Labour supporters, he added: "I hope they'll be happy about this. “
He added: “They sent a letter of support. I will apologise humbly for my mistake. I do apologise, it's all right."
Today they were asked by a Twitter user if they had heard of the Labour leader.
"Who?" they tweeted back with a winking emoji.
