Brian Laundrie is secretly communicating with his parents through their lawyer, ex-FBI agent believes
GABBY Petito’s fiancé Brian Laundrie may be "loosely" contacting his parents through the family attorney and will be found alive by cops, an ex-FBI agent believes.
, 23, has yet to be found by law enforcement – more than three weeks after he was first reported missing by his .
When quizzed by journalist Brian Entin about whether might still be in contact with his parents, Jennifer Coffindaffer speculated: "Yes, although very loosely through the attorney."
It is not known if the 23-year-old has spoken to his parents through the lawyer after he was reported missing.
The agent thinks cops will find Laundrie alive but doesn't think it will be soon.
She said: "I believe he’s going to be able to hide in his surroundings. I think he’s a learned outdoorsman and survivalist and because of that I think he will be able to stay out of law enforcement’s grasp for a while.”
Coffindaffer is not the only former FBI agent to think cops will find fiancé alive.

“All the information that’s been coming in for weeks now, as you layer it upon yourself, you can start to see all these things coming to fruition.”

She said the case is “filled with one wild goose chase after another”.
And, ex Marshal Lenny DePaul thinks Laundrie is “sleeping with one eye open” as cops try to locate the fugitive.
He told the: “I personally think he could be anywhere. It doesn’t matter. He’s gonna mess up. He’s going to make a mistake.”
Laundrie was reported missing on September 17 – days after allegedly telling his parents that he was going for a hike in the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota, Florida.
'HE'S GONNA MESS UP'
But, Bertolino revealed that for the "hike".
The 23-year-old left on September 13, rather than September 14 as originally shared.
Bertolino told WFLA: "The Laundries were basing the date Brian left on their recollection of certain events.”
After consulting with the FBI and confirming the day Brian’s Mustang was found and returned to the Laundries’ home, Bertolino wrote, “We now believe the day Brian left to hike in the preserve was Monday, September 13."
Detectives continue to scour the Carlton Reserve while investigates the Fort de Soto campground.

'DANGEROUS' SEARCH

"We are continuing to search for Brian Laundrie. The longer he is on the run, the more dangerous this becomes."

There have been alleged sightings in other parts of Florida, Canada, and Mexico. Most potential leads have led to dead ends.
'COME FORWARD'
Laundrie’s sister has begged the fugitive to “come forward” and urged him to “get us out of this horrible mess”.
In an interview with Good Morning America, she said: "I really wish he had come to me first that day with the van because I don't know we'd be here.
"I worry about him. I hope he's ok and then I'm angry and I don't know what to think.
"I'd tell my brother to just come forward and get us out of this horrible mess."
