THIS is the horror moment four armed men attack two Brit backpackers with a metal bar on the streets of Bangkok.
The victims are clearly seen being kicked and punched by the ruthless mob in the tourist-packed Thai capital.
The plucky pair desperately fight for their lives through the bloody ordeal.
Brave locals also try to stop the men during the brutal attack on Khao San Road – a well-known hotspot for backpackers.
It's reported the beating started when one of the Brits gave a middle finger to the men in black after a row outside a nightclub.
Two men have been arrested and charged following the attack.
Sunday's assault came after British holidaymakers were warned to be on “high alert” over fears of more bombs rocking holiday spots across Thailand.
The alarm was sent out by the Foreign Office after a spate of 11 terror blasts rocked Thailand overnight on Thursday and Friday killing four and injuring dozens, including foreigners.
The bombings - caused by homemade devices - went off south of Bangkok and several hit the tourism industry.
The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office said yesterday there is now a “high threat” from terrorism in Thailand.
A FCO statement added: “Bomb and grenade attacks have been indiscriminate, including in places visited by expatriates and foreign travellers.
“There have been attacks in the past in the main cities of Thailand, including in Bangkok in 2015 and 2012, in Koh Samui in 2015, and in Chiang Mai in 2010.”
In May, shocking footage (see below) emerged of a British family who were punched and kicked unconscious during a brutal attack in a resort in Thailand .
Lewis Owen, 68, Rose Owen, 65 and their 43-year-old son, John Owen, were attacked while celebrating the Thai New Year.
The family, from Wenvoe, near Cardiff, were repeatedly punched to the ground in horrific scenes and left unconscious on April 13.
Toward the end of the brutal attack, Mrs Owen can be seen trying to get up but one of the attackers kicks her in the face, knocking her out.
