Gabby Petito followers trawl pic of ‘bizarre’ angel wings and ‘guess’ T-shirt for clues as Brian Laundrie hunt continues
ONLINE sleuths have been trawling through Gabby Petito's Instagram page in the bid to unearth clues as the hunt for Brian Laundrie continues.
One picture, in particular, has caught the attention of the vlogger's followers with one person calling it "bizarre".
On January 14, 2020, Gabby shared a picture of herself standing in front of graffitied angel wings while wearing a Guess? t-shirt.
"This picture is very bizarre considering what has happened," the follower wrote.
Another said: "You finally became now an Angel, in heaven."
Gabby had been traveling with her fiancé Brian across the US when she was reported missing by her family on September 11.
Before her disappearance, Laundrie and Petito were working on documenting their journey on under the name "Nomadic Statik."
Eight days after she went missing, her remains were found in Grand Teton National Park in .

Yesterday, followers wildly claimed that Gabby was holding a gun in a picture in her fiancé's bedroom.
The image was uploaded in January this year as part of a montage of photos on her channel Nomadic Statik.
The short clip appears to document moments from the blogger's adventures and travels with .
It is titled: "Reminiscing, 2020 memories. We have lots of big plans for this new year."
is posing with the object near her mouth where she appears to be kissing the tip.
It's not known if the object is a firearm and the date of the photograph remains unknown.
Twitter users sent a screenshot of the TikTok snap to the FBI.
Last week, internet sleuths claimed that Gabby was allegedly pregnant after spotting a baby-themed Pinterest board and a “sonogram” on a dirt track near where her van was parked in Wyoming.
One sleuth, who watched a video posted by travel bloggers Jenn and Kyle Bethune, shared an image that looks like a “sonogram”.
'CAUSE OF DEATH WITHHELD'
The "picture" was among several items by the roadside including what looks like a spiraled notebook.
It remains unknown if a "sonogram" was among the items found near the couple's van.
Sleuths also speculated that Gabby may be pregnant after discovering a Pinterest board titled: “Oh Baby”.
The board was also shared by Brian Laundrie's mom, the reports.
Meanwhile, experts fear that Gabby's cause of death may be “being withheld” as cops struggle to find clues from her body left in the wilderness for weeks.
Gabby’s body has not yet been released as medical examiners try to establish her cause of death.
Joseph Giacalone, a criminal justice professor at the City University of thinks cops may be withholding a cause of death for a reason.
He told : “If she’s strangled, the evidence is going to be limited.
“In the respect that you’re not going to have blood everywhere and, you know, hair fibers or all that other stuff.”
On Monday, Brian's parents released a new statement through their attorney to address rumors about their knowledge of his whereabouts.
'WANTED'
It reads: "Chris and Roberta Laundrie do not know where Brian is. They are concerned about Brian and hope the FBI can locate him.
"The speculation by the public and some in the press that the parents assisted Brian in leaving the family home or in avoiding arrest on a warrant that was issued after Brian had already been missing for several days is just wrong."
