Stunning snaps show the arrival of the autumn equinox – enjoyed by paddle boarders and druids alike
A PADDLE BOARDER welcomed the autumn equinox on the calm waters at Heacham, Norfolk, yesterday.
It marked the end of the summer and the formal beginning of the autumn in the northern hemisphere, with the days now set to draw in.
Druid priests also gathered in Primrose Hill, North London, to mark the occasion which coincides with the Pagan festival of Mabon.
But the sunshine didn’t show any signs of going away just yet, with Bournemouth beach packed out with day trippers enjoy the rays.
