Learner driver’s flashy Maserati seized for having NO INSURANCE… despite the car costing £100k
Luxury motor towed away as Arab millionaires are slapped with parking fines during 'supercar season'
A LEARNER driver is lamenting the loss of their first car after a GOLD Maserati with L-PLATES was seized by cops this morning.
The £100,000 GranCabrio was towed away by officers who noticed the flashy motorist hadn’t splashed out on insurance.
The convertible supercar, which was parked up in north Kingston, London, is powered by a V8 engine and can hit 60mph in just five seconds.
But the “gold banger” will now be held by Kingston Police who quipped “no insurance no car” after tweeting out a photo of it on the back of a tow truck.
It is thought the car is owned by a 20-year-old Middle Eastern man who was parked illegally on Edgware Road, north-west London, in April.
The car has been seized as dozens of luxury cars were slapped with parking fines during London’s “supercar season”.
The Middle-Eastern millionaires have no problem flouting the “Traffic Management Act 2004”, and are hit fines that come with a “50% discount if paid withing 14 days”.
