Gabby Petito’s fiancé Brian Laundrie ‘hit and slapped her,’ 911 caller claims
BRIAN Laundrie allegedly hit and slapped Gabby Petito, a 911 caller claimed, prompting the cops to speak to the couple.
"I'd like to report a domestic dispute," the caller said, adding that they were driving a white van with a Florida license plate.
A video captured by the Moab City Police Department in Utah showed officers responding to a 911 call about domestic violence incident between , 22, and Laundrie, 23, outside of a grocery store on August 12.
The more than hour-long clip begins with officers pulling over the couple's white 2012 Ford Transit van and approaching the passenger-side window.
With tears streaming down her face, Petito tells the officer: "We've just been fighting this morning. Some personal issues."
Brian adds: "It's been a long day. We were camping yesterday and camping got [inaudible] and stuff."

Petito is then ordered out of the vehicle and separated from . "I'm so sorry officer," he calls out as Petito opens the door.
They visited national parks and tourist attractions, documenting their trip on social media, before she went missing.
On September 1, Laundrie returned home to Florida in their white van, without Petito.

Following the unusual circumstances, Petito's mother, Nicole Schmidt, reported her daughter missing on September 11 at around 6.55pm.
returned to the state and hired an attorney, but went missing after he was named a person of interest.
According to his bio, he is a "nature enthusiast," and his most recent pictures are from his cross-country travels.
