ISIS brutes have BOILED six people to death with scorching hot tar in the latest vile execution carried out by the terror group.
Evil ISIS henchmen carried out the brutal public killing in Mosul -- the terror group's so-called capital in Iraq.
The six victims had been accused of spying for the Iraqi government and opposition forces in Nineveh province.
A source in Mosul told Iraqi News: "ISIS executed six persons in Mosul for collaborating with Nineveh Operations Command.
"The death sentence was issued ISIS Sharia Court.
“The six persons were placed inside tanks containing boiling tar and the execution was carried out in one of ISIS headquarters at al-Shora."
The source said the vile method of killing was to strike fear into the city's civilian population.
"The execution took place in public and it was done with an aim of inciting fear among the citizens,” the source added.
ISIS fanatics in the city are thought to be stepping up their torture and execution regime as they try to maintain control in the face of advancing opposition forces.
On Monday it was reported that eleven dissidents had been killed within hours of each other.
Some had been accused of spying, others helping people escape the city and spraying anti-ISIS graffiti.
Mosul stands on the brink of liberation after brave Kurdish fighters overran key positions around the city at the weekend.
Plans to retake the major town just 250 miles from Baghdad are in their "final phase" according to Brett McGurk, the US envoy to the coalition against ISIS.
