Shamima Begum says Boris Johnson ‘doesn’t know what he’s doing’ in fight against terror & SHE could help catch jihadis
SHAMIMA Begum said today that Boris Johnson "doesn't know what he's doing" in the fight against terror.
During her first live broadcast with Good Morning Britain, the 22-year-old said the PM is "clearly struggling" and suggested she could help stop UK jihadis from being groomed online.

When asked what she would say to Boris Johnson, she said: "I want to say that you are clearly struggling with extremism and terrorism in your country and I want to help with that and telling you my own experience on how they [ISIS] persuade people to do what they do and to come to places like Syria.
"I think I could very much help you in your fight against terrorism because you clearly don’t know what you’re doing and I want to help."
She added: "I will explain to the government how these people work and how they persuade people and how they take advantage of people, what to look out for and what social problems they need to focus on in order to fight people becoming radicalized online."
Despite her comments she apologised and begged the British people for forgiveness: "No one can hate me more than I hate myself for what I've done and all I can say is I'm sorry and just give me a second chance," she said.
"The only crime I think I committed was being dumb enough to come to ISIS," she added.
When asked if she believed she would ever return to the UK she replied: "Given the right opportunity and the government changing their minds about me and seeing they are willing to help me in the fight against terrorism and see me as an asset instead of a threat to them."

Begum, 22, left the UK aged 15 to join ISIS in Syria.
In February 2019, the British government issued an order revoking her British citizenship and stated that she would never be allowed to return.
'GROOMED'
And today she said she would rather die than go back to ISIS and claimed she was "groomed."
She said: "I am willing to go to court and face the people who made these claims and refute these claims, because I know I did nothing in IS but be a mother and a wife.
"These claims are being made to make me look worse because the Government do not have anything on me.
I think yes, I was groomed and taken advantage of and manipulated into coming.

"There is no evidence because nothing ever happened."
She added: "I would rather die than go back to IS."
Asked whether she was groomed by ISIS, the former jihadi bride said: "I think yes, I was groomed and taken advantage of and manipulated into coming."
She said that at the time she did not know ISIS "was a death cult".
Speaking from northern Syria, she added: "I thought it was an Islamic community that I was joining.
"I was being fed a lot of information on the internet by people in ISIS telling me I need to come because I can’t be a good Muslim in the UK."
When asked what she was expecting to happen when she left Britain, Shamima said she thought she would "just get married, have children and live a pure Islamic life".
She told Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid: "I knew there was war but not in places women and children were living.
"I thought it would be safe for me. I did not know ISIS wanted to take over the world."
'I AM SORRY'
When Shamima first moved to Syria, she dressed modestly and wore a hijab.
She has recently changed her look, however, choosing instead to show her long hair and shoulders.
Richard went on to ask whether her change in look was a "PR exercise".
“It’s for no-one but myself,” Shamima said.
“I have not been wearing a hijab for more than a year now.
"I felt very constricted in the hijab, I felt like I was not myself. I'm not doing it for anyone but myself."
She added: "I am completely sorry for anyone that has been affected by ISIS. I in no way agree or try to justify what they did.
"It’s not justifiable to kill innocent people in the name of religion. I just want to apologise. I am sorry."

In July 2020, the Court of Appeal ruled that Begum should be permitted to return to the UK in order to fairly contest this decision by instructing lawyers properly.
This ruling was appealed to the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom which in February ruled unanimously against her, thus reversing the decision of the Court of Appeal.
