The Australian-born hair stylist is accused of causing £420 worth of damage to one of the walls at St Katherine Cree Church on February 24.

He failed to show up to Westminster Magistrates' Court today to face the criminal damage charge.

Fawaz, who found George dead in his bed four years ago, is facing a trial for allegedly damaging the wall of the historic church.

It is unclear exactly how he damaged the wall but he will appear at the same court in October for his trial according to

The Guild Church of St Katharine Cree is an Anglican church in the Aldgate ward of the City of London, near Leadenhall Market and was founded in 1280.

It is the latest in a series of violent outbursts, as he failed to attend court four times after smashing up a beauty salon in December last year.

The incident is said to have taken place on December 21, four days before the fourth anniversary of the singer’s death.

Fawaz, who has previously done the hair of many famous faces, destroyed the window at Le Fix Natural Beauty Bar in Fitzrovia, central London.

A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was eventually fined £800 for criminal damage on March 13 this year at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court.

The troubled hairdresser was also arrested in August last year after allegedly attacking parked cars with a hammer.

Michael, whose real name is Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, had left Fawaz nothing in his £96.7million will.

In February this year, Fawaz had filmed himself ranting about his love of smoking Class A drug crystal meth on Instagram.

Fawaz was also caught breaking into the pop star’s £5million home days before the fourth anniversary of his death.

Cops discovered that he had smashed his way in through a window of the London townhouse in December 2020.
