South African media report that former Paralympian is on suicide watch
DISGRACED Paralympian Oscar Pistorius has claimed three nurses tried to kill him with "toxic medication", South African media have reported.
Website also reported that the Blade Runner, who was rushed to hospital earlier this month with wrist injuries, has been placed on suicide watch.
reports that three senior prison sources have claimed Pistorius filed a complaint against nurses.
He is currently serving a six-year prison sentence for murdering girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
Earlier this month he was rushed to the South African capital’s Kalafong Hospital with what were reported to be "self-inflicted wrist injuries".
The Blade Runner claimed he sustained the injuries after falling from his bed in Pretoria's Kgosi Mampuru prison.

South Africa's City Press and Eyewitness News are now reporting that he is under suicide watch at Kgosi Mampuru Prison and has had a request to be moved to a different prison denied.
After Pistorius was rushed to hospital two wardens revealed the convicted killer was found to have blades stashed in his cell.
Another inmate said the wounds had been inflicted by Pistorius himself around midday on August 6.
He returned to jail after receiving treatment in hospital - where he was surrounded by an armed guard.
One security guard told South African website : "He had bad cuts on his wrists and the doctors kept wrapping bandages around them."
Pistorius' brother Carl insisted the runner was in "good spirits" after speaking to him, insisting he had slipped in his cell.
He tweeted: "Jenna and I have just seen Oscar and he is doing well given the circumstances.
"He was in good spirits."
The former Olympic and Paralympic sprinter, 29, was jailed for six years last month over the murder of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
Model Reeva was repeatedly shot through a bathroom door in Pistorius' flat on Valentine's Day.
The double amputee accepted he fired the gun but claimed he believed a burglar was hiding in the room.
After initially being found guilty of the lesser charge of culpable homicide, his sentence was increased to murder last month.
But despite the sentence coming with a minimum recommendation of 15 years, Pistorius - who had both legs amputated below the knee when he was a baby - was only given a six-year term.
South African prosecutors have vowed to appeal against the "lenient" sentence.
