EuroMillions winner Adrian Bayford’s son, 13, out of induced coma after horror quad bike smash

EUROMILLIONS winner Adrian Bayford’s teen son is out of the coma he was in after a quad bike accident.

The Sun on Sunday revealed Cameron, 13, was hit by a car driven by his sister Aimee, 15, while riding the machine.

They were playing in the grounds of £148million jackpot winner Adrian’s Cambridgeshire mansion.

Cameron was fighting for life but friends of the family last night said he was responding well to treatment.

The lad had been taken out of his induced coma and was recovering with his dad and mum Gillian, Adrian’s ex-wife, by his bedside.

One pal commented: “This is the best news that the family could have hoped for. Cameron has been taken out of the induced coma by doctors but there is still a long way to go.”

Friends also said former postman Adrian, who shared his mega win in 2012 with then-wife Gillian, took responsibility for the August 23 smash on the sprawling estate near the village of Haverhill.

One added: “Adrian just feels consumed with guilt.

“He allowed his son and daughter to go out around the estate on those vehicles.

"His daughter is too young to drive on a public road, but as it is a private estate she did not need a licence. The kids were on his watch as they were with him while their mum was in Scotland.

“The quad bike was bought by Adrian so he could get around the estate. It was one of the ‘boy’s toys’ he bought after his big win.”

Adrian and Gillian were Britain’s biggest lottery winners but their marriage ended within a year.
