One of the aircraft was flight SAS SK4745 from Olso inbound to Brussels which landed safely at approx 19:02 local time. The pilot received the threat around 20 minutes from landing.

Local media reports that flights have been diverted from the travel hub following the bomb alerts.

Air traffic control reportedly received the bomb threats directly from the planes' pilots.

All passengers on both flights have safely left the planes and the 'disaster plan' has now been lifted following an inspection of both aircraft.

A spokesman for the federal prosecutor, Eric Van der Sypt, said the threats were "serious enough to take measures".

The same airport was the subject of a terror bomb attack in March which killed 17 people.
