OJ Simpson claims he won’t go to LA because he might run into Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman’s ‘real’ killer
OJ Simpson is avoiding Los Angeles because he has a chance of running into Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman's "real" killer, the former football running back claims.
— who was acquitted of the vicious stabbing — recently admitted in an interview the reason why he doesn't go to LA.
Speaking to TheAthletic.com, Simpson admitted he has "."
He told Tim Graham: "People may think this is self-serving, but I might be sitting next to whoever did it. I really don’t know who did this."
Simpson explained that his legal problems, which he dubbed "the LA thing," has led some people to "wrongfully believe something."
And that hasn't stopped Simpson from moving on, he told the news outlet.
"I still think I’m a good guy. I didn’t let it change me. It did for a while," Simpson said.
"I was angry for a while, but I treat everybody the way I want to be treated."
In regards to the world learning what exactly happened when Brown and Goldman were fatally stabbed, Simpson said: "You’ve got to look to learn.
"I figured eventually somebody would confess to something, you know?
"I had one suspect I told my lawyers to look at. I still think he might be involved, but I can’t talk about it."
Simpson turned 74 last month and is currently on parole for an armed memorabilia heist that put him in Nevada prison for nearly a decade.
A civil jury also found him liable for the deaths of Brown and Goldman in a judgment.
Despite what happened in his past, Simpson claimed: "I'm living a good life now."
The Athletic interview then prompted Fred Goldman — the father of Ron Goldman, who, in 1994, was found murdered at a Los Angeles home along with Simpson's ex-wife Brown — to make some comments about Simpson.
Fred that O.J. Simpson was not one of the people who has passed away from Covid, after The Juice claimed he considered death while battling the disease last year.

“I certainly don’t think he deserves any sympathy. He’s alive, he’s free.
"He can do anything he wants. Everything my son can’t do."
Goldman also slammed Simpson for "getting away with murder."
His comments came after Simpson said in an interview with The Athletic, published Friday, that he had a severe case of COVID-19, which left him gasping for air and worried for his life.
Simpson said: “When I had COVID, I almost couldn’t get out of bed.
“I made it to my balcony, trying to breathe. I couldn’t catch my breath.”
