Who is Asa Hutchinson's wife Susan?
Susan Harriett Burrell was born on April 11, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia.
As one of seven children, Burrell has been a lifelong advocate for children and worked as a school teacher on the board of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Benton County.
In high school, Burrell had planned on becoming a doctor but instead chose to teach so she could make her relationship with Hutchinson work.
After graduating college, the politician moved to Fayetteville to get a law degree while his soon-to-be-wife got a teaching job in Memphis to stay close.
In 1973, the two were married in Burrell's hometown of Atlanta.
Apart from supporting her husband in his political endeavors, Burrell went on to become a lawyer while still teaching as a substitute educator at a few Benton County Christian Schools.
In 2015, Burrell was named Children's Advocacy Centers' first Arkansas "Woman of Inspiration."

Hutchinson kicked off his campaign in his hometown of Bentonville, Arkansas.
Hutchinson has been vocal on topics such as border security, crime, federal funding, the economy, and, previously, the Covid-19 mask mandate.
When he first announced his intention to run, the former governor told CNN: "Perhaps I’m not as exciting as some candidates that are out there. I don’t throw bombs and torches all the time.
"But I am consistent, I have a track record that’s important.
"And I have a vision for America, for border security, for the fentanyl crisis – and so things that we can bring people together, I think that’s a great characteristic and history that I bring."
However, on January 16, 2024, Hutchinson revealed he was dropping out of the race following Monday night's Iowa caucuses, as per .
According to the race results, Hutchinson came in sixth place with former president Donald Trump capturing the most votes.
Hutchinson said in a statement: "I congratulate Donald J. Trump for his win last night in Iowa and to the other candidates who competed and garnered delegate support.
"Today, I am suspending my campaign for President and driving back to Arkansas. My message of being a principled Republican with experience and telling the truth about the current front runner did not sell in Iowa."
Do Susan and Asa have children?
Throughout their many years of marriage, the Hutchinsons had four children: Asa III, Seth, Sarah, and John.
Asa III went on to follow in his father's footsteps and got his law degree from the University of Arkansas.
He is a former federal prosecutor, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office attorney, and civil litigator.

Seth became a union organizer in Austin, Texas, and is known for disagreeing with some of his father's views despite their close relationship.
"I love my dad, and we have a good, close relationship," Seth told the New York Times back in 2015. "But we disagree a lot on political issues ... but a lot of families disagree politically. But we stay close."
