Where is Amanda Knox now?

AMANDA Knox spent almost four years in an Italian prison following her murder conviction of her roommate and fellow exchange student Meredith Kercher in 2007.

Knox was convicted and sentenced to 26 years in prison; however, her sentence was overturned after known burglar Rudy Guede was arrested shortly after and found guilty of Kercher's murder.

Where is Amanda Knox now?

After spending almost four years in an Italian prison, Knox returned to , where she grew up and lived before her conviction.

Since being acquitted of murder charges, she has been working with the Innocence Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending wrongful convictions.

Knox was the keynote speaker at a conference about criminal justice hosted by the Innocence Project in in June 2019, her first time back in the country since being released.

In addition to her work with the Innocence Project, Knox is a journalist and author of a memoir titled, Waiting to Be Heard, released in 2013.

In December 2017, Watch announced that Knox would be hosting the show, The Scarlet Letter Reports, produced by Vice Media on its service.

While she was exonerated of murder, a slander conviction was not rescinded.

Knox is currently facing a retrial for the slander charge that says she defamed a bar owner by accusing him of the 2007 murder.

The retrial begins in Florence, Italy on April 10, 2024.

In November 2018, Knox married novelist Christopher Robinson.

The couple had a space-themed wedding in Washington state.

Knox had her hair tied up at her intergalactic-themed wedding and wore a whimsical yellow princess gown with white sleeves.

Knox and Robinson first met when she reviewed her future husband's novel for a local magazine.

Does Amanda Knox have any children?

On October 22, 2021, Amanda Knox revealed she gave birth to a baby girl with husband Chris Robinson.

The name of Amanda's first child was revealed to be Eureka.

Amanda posted a picture to her Instagram page of her holding her newborn with the baby's face facing away from the camera.

She captioned it: "I know that I cannot 100% protect my daughter from the kind of treatment I've suffered, but I'm doing the best I can.

"Which is why this will be the only picture of her I will ever share on social media.

"I'm so grateful to everyone who has wished @emceecarbon and I well on our journey to parenthood. Thank you for believing in us."

Amanda first announced the news of her pregnancy in an August episode of her podcast Labyrinth.

The announcement came just weeks after Amanda revealed she had previously suffered a miscarriage.

Knox and her husband Robinson then revealed that they would launch a new "mini-series" to talk about their journey.

"That's right, we're pregnant, and we've been recording audio of our own experience since day one.

"Stay tuned for our next mini-series, 280 days, where we take you on an intimate journey from conception to birth."

In September 2023, Knox gave birth to their second child, a son named Echo.

She announced the news on another podcast called Younglings, which she shares with her husband, and co-hosts Kylie Pentelow and Brady Haran.

According to , Knox has amassed a $500,000 fortune since being freed from an Italian prison.
