WAYNE Rooney called the cops after pictures of him asleep in a hotel room with semi-naked girls following a boozy night out went viral.
The Derby County manager, 35, was seen slumped fully clothed on a chair in a Manchester hotel after a night out with two male friends.
It is understood that Rooney is absolutely clear he did no wrong, but has complained to cops saying the pictures were taken while he was asleep and without his knowledge or consent.
In one picture captioned "mooney Rooney" a woman in a g-string is seen displaying her bum to the camera apparently making fun of the situation.
Another image entitled 'Sleepy Wayne' shows a woman making a peace sign next to the ex-England captain, in a video seen by thousands on social media.

And a snap also appears to show the football boss talking to a blonde woman in a nightclub.
It's believed Rooney had also been in the hotel with two male pals.
The photos emerged shortly after Derby's 2-1 defeat to League Two outfit Salford City in a pre-season friendly.
It is believed the Three Lions legend had went for an evening out in Manchester after the match.
In April, Rooney declared his love for wife Coleen on her birthday as he revealed a cute family album of snaps.
But the football boss has been in the dog house with Coleen previously for scoring relationship own goals before the couple married in 2008.

Wayne Rooney speaking yesterday
In 2019, the then-DC United player was arrested for being drunk in public when he set off a security door alarm at a US airport after a booze and sleeping pill mix left him "disoriented".
There is no suggestion of any sexual contact between Rooney and the women in the photos that have emerged today.
It comes as Rooney vowed not to quit as Derby manager, but demanded new signings before the season restarts in two weeks.
Speaking yesterday, the Rams' boss warned it would be "impossible" to field a new team with the club currently only having nine registered senior players - two of them goalkeepers.
Rooney told Sky Sports News: "It's other people which I can't control who need to make bigger decisions that I do.
"All I can do is try to bring some dignity and pride back to this club. It is clear that has gone in the last few years and it is my job to bring that back. I need other people to do their job."
